     Welcome to the home of the annual Wrestling Radio Awards. The WRAs were founded in 2001 to honor the best wrestling radio shows and interviews each year.
     In Q1 2009, the WRA 2009 award show was held to honor the best of 2008. The extended version of the awards show is now available to hear.

     There were many highlights on last year's show from Miami. We were very excited to have Rob Van Dam live on the show to accept the Peoples Choice Award for his show (RVD Radio). Doc Young from "Wrestling Weekly" was the host of the show and delivered the opening keynote address. The Phantom from "Get In The Ring" made his first appearance in years when he was unveiled as a guest award presenter.
